The two new programs of Pinewave Radio this semester allow every student to show themselves

Pinewave radio has been a radio station with positive image in National Central University for several years. They are all working very hard for presenting the high–quality programs. Now, every student of National Central University has a chance to be on the air. Pinewave Radio wants to get closer to students’ life in campus and want to provide a stage for those having great voices but too shy to sing in front of the public, so there are two new programs. One is called In 2300 Street Talk, which will be broadcasted on Wednesday night in odd numbers week. The other one is Sing the Voice Within, which will be broadcasted on Wednesday night in even numbers week.


In 2300 Street Talk, there will be seven topics on alternative Wednesday. DJs will talk about many hot topics and the interesting gossip in NCU. For example, they made the couple and the single PK, also they made a personal interview with the hottest man on BBS, Jking, and etc. To promote 2300 Street Talk, DJs make a short video for each topic to arouse students’ curiosity and advertise through BBS and MSN. “Well~Our program aims to satisfy your needs for gossip and interesting topic, so I really do hope you all like it, and if not, please leave your comment on the website. You are welcomed to give us suggestions which drive us to the next level. Thanks for listening, anyway.” the headquarters, Jess Lin said.
Sing the Voice Within is a singing contest on the air for NCU students to show their talents for singing behind audience. Pinewave Radio wants make NCU stars so they provide some participants an opportunity to attend a class, learning how to make a great performance on stage. “To be well-connected with the campus and students, Pinewave Radio decided to make a program which all the members in NCU can get involved. As a result, the singing competition was born. This competition is not only for singing, but gives students an opportunity to become campus stars. So, let's just wait and see who will become the super star in NCU!” the headquarters, Alvin said.

These programs aim to build a closer connection between Pinewave Radio and the students of NCU, so there is message sphere in official website. Furthermore, they have BBS, Facebook, website, NCU newspaper, and videos on Youtube to make all the information the most updated one. So, tomorrow night when you are in the dorm, just turn on the pinewave radio, enjoying it, you will definitely have a wonderful night you have ever had!
